Q: Do I have to be a member of PMI to be a member of the SIG?
A: Yes.
Q: How much does it Cost?
A: For the SIG, $10.00 per year.
This must be done in conjunction with a PMI
membership. For a student the total is $50.00.
$30.00 to PMI. $10.00 registration fee (One
time
only.) And $10.00 to join the SIG.
Q: Do I have to be a current student to join?
A: Absolutely not! After all, we're all
"students" of
Project
Management! Full membership to PMI is
currently $119.00 plus any SIG or component
membership fees.
Q: How many members are in the
SIG? See

A: We have over 600 members as of January,
2007.
There
are almost 3500 PMI student members as of October 2006.
Of
course, we would like to have more!
Q: Can I charter a Student Chapter at a local
college or university?
A: No. The PMI board of directors stopped
chartering student
chapters at the Nashville Symposium in 2001.
