As a welcome mat to the profession of project
management
we would like to give you our perspective on various events
within the PMI Institute. For those components (Specific Interest
Groups (SIG), Local Chapters and Colleges) and of course
individuals we hope this conveys the value of attending these
events as part of your PMI member or officer experience.
Looking at

will give you an overview of the
Institute and its mission. The "Inside PMI" perspective is from our leaders of
the SIG who have attended multiple leadership meetings and
symposiums. We hope this will encourage you to join us at these
events for the basic knowledge conveyed from the meetings and
for the networking and "face time" opportunities in meeting other
members, component officers, Board of Directors officers and the
PMI headquarters staff.
